Total War: Warhammer 3 – Game Guide

Total War Warhammer 3

Total War: Warhammer 3 is an upcoming turn-based strategy and tactical real-time tactics game. Released by Creative Assembly and now released by Sega. It is a part of the Total War franchise and third in the already popular Warhammer Fantasy series. Like the previous games in the series, it is planned to offer players a unique, streamlined gaming experience in an MMORPG format. Unlike its predecessors, it is not an open-world game.

The story of the game begins some five hundred years after its predecessor’s events. Wherein the Warhammer Online game’s storyline is told through journals kept by its character, Lord Vaelius. In these journals, he narrates about the battles and events that transpired. The events eventually led to the destruction of the High Elves and their homeland of Ulthar due to the magical backlash caused by Chaos. However, owing to the intervention of High Elf called elvesmoth, the cataclysm was prevented. After this, elvesmoths were transformed into creatures much like their original selves, and they returned to Ulthar to begin anew. However, before they could start anew, they had to rebuild their strength, as Chaos’ threat was once again upon the world.

Previous games

As in previous games in the series, in Total War: Warhammer 3, one’s empire can be built up via a series of quests, battles, and other events. Players are also able to create their kingdoms within the game by choosing their religion, government, and even ethnic background. One of the most engaging components of this game is the roleplaying element, or better said. The player’s interactions with the other players and the non-player characters (NPC). A player’s businesses with the other players can either gain or lose points, experience, or gold necessary for playing other, more involved game features such as forging weapons or gaining titles.

How to play?

To play the game, one must choose a race, an ethnic group, or a class. These categories provide distinct characteristics that make them express themselves from one another. Such as their technological advancement, natural talents, magic abilities, and so on. Each race has different, special units customized to fight in different ways depending on the situation. Like the Dwarf, some races have stronger defensive capabilities. While the High Elves possess magical abilities that help them excel in close combat. Some classes, such as the Warrior Priest, include healing abilities and support roles, while others, such as the Bishop, have abilities that heal nearby units. Classes can be changed at any time during gameplay; however, it is not possible to change your race or character between games.

How to win this game?

To win a game, each player needs to employ a variety of strategies that complement their strengths. Playing against an opponent on his level, for example, requires one to use powerful archers, wizards, warriors, and shamans to counter the enemy’s highly professional skills. Likewise, if a player lacks experience. He has to build up his skills by playing against other players who are more experienced. The World of Warcraft allows a player to play with several races, each with its strengths and weaknesses. A player’s race determines their starting weapon, clothing, special abilities, spells, and other statistics.

In addition to playing a unique race in this World of War: Warhammer 3, a player also has to learn about each race’s strengths and weaknesses. It takes time to learn about these subtleties, but in the end, it pays off. Different races have different play-style options, allowing them to be more competitive or less so. Players have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of playing a certain race, according to how they see the game played out. As they gain experience, they will learn more tricks for using their unique characters in the best possible way.
